Technical Guide
Reading time: 5 minStudio rental: rules and equipment
To ensure maximum technical quality and safety for all professionals visiting our space in the Casco Antiguo of Sevilla, we have established a clear operational framework. This guide details the available tools and the rules for using our facilities.
Renting a professional space is more than just having four walls and a high ceiling. At Asterniva, we provide an environment optimized for visual creation, where light precision and space management are paramount. Whether you are a freelance photographer or a production agency, understanding how our equipment works and the studio rules is fundamental to the success of your working day.
Infrastructure and Space Capabilities
Our studio features a total area of 120 m², designed to allow the fluid movement of equipment and models. With a ceiling height of 4.5 m, the space is ideal for overhead lighting schemes or the use of large-scale modifiers without physical restrictions. The central element is our white cyclorama, rigorously maintained to prevent chromatic contamination in the shadows.
Additionally, we have a private dressing room equipped for makeup and wardrobe, ensuring that models and talent have a dignified and private area for preparation before entering the set. In the context of Sevilla, where the weather can be extreme, the studio maintains a regulated temperature to prevent human fatigue and the overheating of flashes.
Available Lighting Equipment
Image quality begins with the quality of light. Therefore, we have standardized our inventory with Profoto technology, globally recognized for its consistency and recycle speed. The rental includes access to strobe lighting for high-speed work and motion freezing, as well as continuous lighting for projects requiring exact light preview or video production.
The modifier set includes softboxes of various sizes, octaboxes for natural portraits, and standard reflectors. Each piece of equipment must be handled with care; the use of tripods and boom arms must follow safety standards to avoid accidental tipping over the cyclorama or personnel.
Usage and Conduct Rules
To maintain the studio's operationality, we ask all renters to comply with the following guidelines. Respect for the reserved schedule is critical: the rental time begins at the agreed hour, regardless of the team's arrival. Likewise, the studio must be left in the same condition of cleanliness as it was delivered.
Smoking or consuming food within the cyclorama area is strictly prohibited. Any stain on the white surface requires a repainting process that could affect studio availability for future clients and generate additional maintenance costs.

Time Management and Bookings
The workflow at Asterniva is based on punctuality. We recommend arriving 15 minutes before the session to coordinate entry and the deployment of your own equipment if necessary. Should you require more time, extensions will be subject to calendar availability and will be billed as additional hours according to the current rate.
We remind you that, according to our internal policies, any modification to the rental date must be notified at least 3 days in advance to avoid the loss of the deposit. This measure allows us to optimize the schedule and offer the space to other professionals in the city.
Safety and Responsibility
The renter is responsible for any damage caused to the lighting equipment or the studio infrastructure during their session. We strongly recommend that professionals carry their own civil liability insurance. The Asterniva team can supervise the initial installation of lights to ensure there are no electrical or stability risks.
In the case of sessions involving minors, we remind you that the presence of a parent or legal guardian is mandatory at all times, complying with our child protection policy and current Spanish regulations.
Studio Exit Checklist
Before leaving the premises, the client must verify the following points:
- Complete shutdown of all flashes and continuous lights.
- Collection of all cables and personal accessories.
- Cleaning of the dressing room area and removal of waste.
- Closing of windows and climate control according to instructions.
- Notification to the studio manager regarding any detected technical incidents.
